Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form a binding agreement between you and Crixus(“we,” “us,” or “our”) governing your use of the Crixus mobile application, our website at crixus.app, and related services (together, the “Services”).

By downloading, installing, or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Services. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent's or legal guardian's permission.

2. Your Account

• Provide accurate and complete registration information and keep it current
• Keep your password confidential and not share your account
• Notify us immediately at support@crixus.app of any unauthorized use
• Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account

We may suspend or terminate accounts that contain false information or that are used in violation of these Terms.

3. License to Use the App

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use one copy of the App on a device you own or control, for your personal, non-commercial use. This license does not permit you to copy, modify, reverse engineer, rent, lease, sell, or distribute the App, or to use it to build a competing product.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation
• Post or transmit content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, or that infringes anyone's rights
• Impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity
• Upload viruses, malware, or any code designed to disrupt or damage the Services
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Services, other accounts, or our systems
• Use bots, scrapers, or other automated means to access the Services without our written permission

5. User Content

You retain all ownership rights in the content you create, upload, or submit through the Services ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, and display that content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Services. This license ends when you delete your User Content, except for copies retained in backups.

6. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICES WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE, OR USD $100.

7. Termination

You may stop using the Services and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if we suspect fraudulent or illegal activity, or if we discontinue the Services.

8. Apple App Store Terms

If you downloaded the App from the Apple App Store, these Terms are between you and us only, not with Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App, and Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the App or by posting notice on our website. Continued use of the Services after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
